MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD

Although we have something in common somehow we all have differences. The way we perceive things has variations. The good things for others might be bad for some. The pretty things for others might be ugly for some.

“The good things for others might be bad for some.”

Certainly it is the same thing with personalities. We all have different way of looking at it. Others would say, “Oh you look good today.” Then after a few minutes another one will say exactly the otherwise.

But what makes someone’s personality really pleasing? Is it  having a white color of skin or is it black? Is it being blonde or not? Is it the high-bridge and pointed nose or the small one. Is it the black or those blue eyes? Is it the fancy clothing that a person wears? It would perfectly sound perfect when you got the choices that you want to have, isn’t it? Some may agree, others won’t. It’s just weird because just earlier I saw two foreigners exposing themselves to the sun and Filipinos taking shelter under the tree. White people wanted to become tan and Asians want a whiter skin.

“He would always explain very well that it is the design of God that’s perfect.”

porac3Whenever I come with my mentor/pastor with his speaking engagements, I always hear him tell the young people, that there is no such thing as perfect eyes, noses, skin color and all that because everything is different, He created us uniquely. He would always explain very well that it is the design of God that’s perfect. It is what God had made us to be. Like the noses that’s not inverted with two holes on it, the eyes that see clearly, the skin that protects you from the sunlight, and other qualities. Whatever and whoever we are we must be contented. We must be thankful. Besides it’s not really the outward appearance that makes someone pleasing for a long time. Although we have to admit that it is the basic thing that people see but it is just the same as the first impression, it doesn’t lasts.

Proverbs 31:30a says, “Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades…”

I believe that what makes up a personality pleasing is the positive character which lasts for a lifetime.

Just few months ago me, my pastor, his wife and other Korean missionaries went to minister to Aetas, they are an indigenous people who live in scattered, isolated mountainous parts of the island of Luzon, the Philippines one is in Porac, Pampanga. These people are considered to be Negritos, whose skin ranges from dark to very dark brown, and possessing features such as a small stature and frame; hair of a curly to kinky texture and a higher frequency of naturally lighter colour on the general population; small nose; and dark brown eyes. They are thought to be among the earliest inhabitants of the country. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeta_people)

They might be teased for their physical features but for me they are one of the most beautiful people in the world and  I am so grateful that I have met them. I thank those people whom God used to execute this kind of ministry.

“…they are one of the most beautiful people in the world…”

This is the “Tsinelas Ko, Handog Ko” project where our church go to different places to share them the good news about Jesus then distribute slippers.
